Revenge is awesome.
In the mid-nineteen sixties, the gang structure of Philadelphia is similar to the feudal systems of old. Marissa Wells, a young black catholic, is caught up in that structure. Her allegiance to the gang forges enemies and perpetuates deep-rooted hatreds that culminate in a brutal assault, and she’s left to die. However, Marissa is a survivor and she retaliates. Regrettably, her vengeance goes awry, leaving her enemy alive but wounded, which sets into motion an unrelenting resolve for revenge.

being revisited when one of three men begins to stalk her. Is it

man she shamelessly humiliated? Not content to destroy only Marissa,

edge, and to save her family, she must revert to her old ways. She
sets herself up as bait, knowing it could mean the forfeiture of her

together to save their child, and both come to realize
the true meaning of love.

about her attitude and
discovers his family's past holds secrets that are pivotal to saving Kristen's
life. Moreover, when those secrets are revealed, they connect the two
families, bringing the trail of hatred and revenge full circle, leading back
to Kristen’s mother, Marissa Wells Corbett.
